Bullfights without blood

France.- The Animal welfare affiliation, Alliance Anticorrida, founded and headed by Claire Starozinski, has proposed to the organizers of a bullfight to sponsor this event to the amount of 2.000 dollars, for one or more stagings of a bullfight spectacle. This might lead us to believe that the animal lovers have lost the plot, but we should add something more about the bullfight in question – that it would take place in a casino of Las Vegas and no blood will be spilt. Bullfight followers denounce it as a “masked ball without interest” and a “pantomime”. A “strange reaction say the animal lovers from those who claim to love to the bull. Should they not, on the contrary, feel happy about the proposal for a spectacle that respects the animal and, actually might serve to reconcile the pro and the anti bullfighting factions?
