Agde, France. – The French daily newspaper, Hérault Tribune, has published the letter of support sent by ADDA to the antibullfighting French affiliation FLAC (Fédération des Luttes pour l’Abolition of Bullfights), for the documentary that Thierry Hély filmed in the year 2000 at the Bezier bullring. The objective of the event was the initiation as a fully fledged bullfighter of the French bull killer Sébastien Castella by another bull killer, José Tomás. The aim of this documentary is to raise awareness about the brutality of bullfights.
The movie entitled is “Juste pour le plaisir” (Only for pleasure) was shown, outside the contest, at the Festival of Cannes of 2002.
This news has prompted numerous congratulations, to the author of the documentary, to the newspaper that spread the news and to two Spanish affiliations, ADDA and PACMA, for their support to the French antibullfighting associations.
