France. – The French magazine “Bulls”, admits that the bullfight is not popular, and that it has been replaced with other more attractive spectacles. According to the article, which appeared in December 2009, the trend is confirmed also of the loss of support also for bullfights in Spain, 2009 saw a reduction of 20 % when compared to the year 2008. “Times change, and we have to accept that,” the chronicler affirms, adding, also, that in 1959 Barcelona was staging a multitude of bullfights, whereas today, they are rare.
