Honouring Catalan abolitionists

Barcelona. – Last Sunday, 16th of May, the well-known musical group Ojos de Brujo gave a free concert at the ‘Bikini’ party venue in Barcelona. The event, organized by the Federation to fight for the abolition of bullfights, FLAC, was a great success, with more than 600 people attending. Among them was the spokesman and councillor from the Catalan political party, ‘Esquerra’ on the Barcelona council, Jordi Portabella. FLAC wished to honor in this event the members of the bullfighting abolitionists, platform PROU, and all the wider groups of abolitionsts of Catalonia. At the event the ngo ADDA awarded the title of ‘Socia de Honor’ to Isabel Marcoux, the president of FLAC and a well-known activist who has collaborated with ADDA for many years.
