Madrid. – the Parliamentary Association for Defence of the Rights of Animals, ADDA, describes the initiative of the Community of Madrid to declare bullfighting spectacles as events of Cultural Interest as a kind of “tantrum of the bullfighting lobby.” They propose instead initiatives that focus on actual cultural events, rather than encouraging interest in the cruelty of bullfights among young people, who constitute the sector of the population least interested in these types of spectacles.
