Cáceres, site of the 7th world Bullfighting veterinarians Congress

Cáceres, Extremadura. – After Seville withdrew its candidacy, it will be the Extremaduran city of Cáceres, which, following procedure, will host the 7th world bullfighting congress on the 7th, 8th and 9th April, 2011. The congress will be open to veterinarians, scientists and experts among others. There will be a special call to Portugese veterinarians to attend because of their geographical proximity and professional affinity. The continuation of this disgraceful event, which acts to promote and publicise bullfighting, is the sad legacy of Dr. Bongori, pro-bullfighter to the core, who was for many years the President of the National Congress of Veterinarians of Spain.
