France creates an organization of veterinarians opposed to bullfights

Paris. – Headed by the teacher Jean-François Courreau, veterinary of the National Veterinary School at Alfort, the Veterinarian Nathalie Milhas and Dr. Jean-Paul Richier a psychiatrist concerned about violence towards animals, the first Association of Veterinarians Opposed to Bullfights has been created in Paris. They have the support of 170 French veterinarians who have signed a Declaration calling for the end to bullfights. In addition they have the support of important antibullfighting affiliations such as FLAC, l, Alliance Anticorrida and CRASH Europe. (June, 2010)
