Ricky Gervais, antibullfighter

Barcelona. – British actor Ricky Gervais, has added his support to the initiative to prohibit bullfighting in Catalonia via a one minute Youtube video, where he clearly affirms that there are thousands of people across the world watching the Catalonian vote and hoping that it will result in a ban on bullfighting. In the video, entitled ‘Enough is Enough’, which has already had over 22,000 hits, he attests that he considers bullfights to be acts of unnecessary cruelty. He asks that the signatures in favor of the prohibition should be registered through the website of World Society for the Protection of Animals, for WSPA. (June, 2010)
