Extremadura, Spain.- Socialist voters have ensured that The Commission of Culture and Tourism of the Extremaduran Assembly has rejected the proposal of the parliamentary popular group to declare the bullfights “Events of cultural Interest”. According to the socialist deputy Manuela Frutos, the proposal is simply “an irrelevant and unnecessary debate for the Extremaduran society” and had to be rejected since the initiative seeks only “to divide Spain and to build a wall between it and Catalonia”.
