Galicia, Spain.- According to a study realized by the company IG-INVESTIGA, Galicia is the fourth Spanish antibullfighting community. The report reveals that 67 % of Galicians are not interested in bullfighting spectacles. In other communities such as Catalonia, Aragon, 73 % of the population shows a clear lack of interest for bullfights. In Palencia, La Rioja, Cantabria and Basque Country, 67,6 % of the population also demonstrates the waning popularity of the “Fiesta”. IG – Vestiga also revealed the remarkable fact that 66,1 % of the citizens of the region centred around Madrid, Zamora, Salamanca or Segovia, also have a marked lack of interest in bullfights.
